Overview
This pack comes in several sizes ranging from 24L to 36L. It includes all the must have features of a typical backpacking pack, but with lower capacity. The Gregory Juno / Citro 36 pack is perfect for both extended day hikes and overnight backpacking trips. It's also suitable for base camping adventures. With a recommended max carry weight of 30lbs, you can haul everything you need into camp. When it's time for sight seeing, just load up the essentials and hit the trail! I took this pack for a day hike on Mount LeConte trail in October last year. While I didn't have much in terms of gear with me, the internal frame made carrying snacks and water for our group a breeze. This pack might be small, but it really does it all!
Pros
Variety of uses from day hiking to overnight backpacking
Internal frame allows for heavier loads than the average daypack. Gregory's max carry weight recommendation is 30lbs
Ideal for the minimalist backpacker looking to pare down their gear and carry just the essentials.
Trampoline style back panel allows airflow. Moisture wicking mesh helps prevent sweat build up.
Perforated EVA foam in the shoulder straps and hip belt are soft and cushiony. Provides extra comfort when carrying heavier loads.
Cons
Fixed torso length and limited size options. XS/S and M/L
Shallow hip belt pockets. Only gear items about the size of a Sawyer Squeeze filter will fit.
Side pockets are narrow making it difficult to fit wider water bottles like a Nalgene.
